Laura & Shaun have known each other for twenty years, and have been an item for twelve! Talk about couple goals! To be able to shoot their wedding pictures in Taunton Town was an honor. Laura and Shaun got married at THE SOMERSET REGISTRATION SERVICE in the middle of town. The Old Municipal Buildings are located on Corporation Street – A venue I always enjoy shooting! The colors of Autumn are popping through and we had some clouds for the best light. Upon Laura’s arrival, I was drawn to her choice of dried wedding flowers! These were just a perfect touch for the wedding pictures.

WEDDING GIVEAWAY COMPETITION…

I joined the registry office and teamed up some months back to offer the many couples of Taunton the chance to win their wedding, and PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE included. A competition we held via Facebook. In its infancy and a first-time promotion, we had roughly 30 couples enter in total, and Laura & Shaun were the lucky winners! Being from Taunton myself, made it even more enjoyable to have done this. We are hoping to run this chance to “WIN A WEDDING” again!

ADJUSTING TO THE TIMES…

Since time has passed, things have changed and weddings have become a little bit restricted. But this didn’t dampen Shaun & Laura’s mood on the day. They had smiles ear to ear and the team at the Registry Office has put many measures in place to make sure weddings are safe for couples and their families. I’m hoping that this won’t be the last giveaway we get the chance to host! After the ceremony, we headed outside for the traditional confetti photo. One of the best images in a photo album! We then took a stroll around the back of the wedding venue for some bride and groom shots. So far, in the five socially distanced weddings that I have photographed, brides and grooms have got so many photos of them alone!
