Wedding Couple Photoshoot Somerset
Weddings are back for 2021! Shooting many weddings over the last few years I’ve met some amazing people. One person I met on my travels was Carol who is a Somerset-based wedding celebrant. Carol’s daughter Millie was due to get married at the time, and I was contacted by her after to photograph this lovely event. As far as wedding couple photoshoots go, this was one of my favourites to date. What I’m learning is size doesn’t matter, as you will in this gallery.
Small and Intimate…
The wedding party itself hosted 12 people, and of course, Carol was the celebrant. Ben, who is from Australia zoomed the wedding via his laptop, so his family could watch the ceremony. When I say size doesn’t matter in fact some of the cleanest wedding sets I have taken have been at smaller weddings. I have more time to concentrate on the bride and groom. The styling of this wedding was very nice and the slight layer of cloud was perfect to give us a soft diffused light. Everything seemed to fall into place for this photoshoot.
We found a sunflower field!
After the lovely ceremony by Carol, we took off to use the area for photos of Ben and Millie alone. In the midst of summer, the grass was long giving us a meadow look. Again it all fell into place. The house they were staying in for the weekend is on the DILLINGTON ESTATE IN SOMERSET. It was a playground. Walking down into the estate further we came across a sunflower field. Over the fence, we went! Millie’s small dress allowed this to happen perfectly while Ben was on flower duty. Walking into the field I am now very excited. For a wedding photoshoot, this was gold!
