Dillington House Wedding – Emily & Andrew

Emily and Andrew’s Dillington House wedding is finally here, I say this in a way that many have looked forward to this day, including myself. I have known this awesome couple for a few years now and have done several photoshoots for them, so to be their wedding photographer was the icing on the cake for me. Things all started a long time ago with their photo journey, the main one being when DREW PROPOSED TO EMILY on The Cobb in Lyme Regis. If you look around the blog section for this website you will also find other sets of photos, and I feel this made a big difference on the day of the wedding.
Emily likes to plan, she is very organised. Lucky for Drew, but also lucky for me as their photographer. She knew exactly what colours were to flow in their album. Alongside this, they even had a split-screen campervan as the mode of transport to arrive in style. My camera was red hot taking photos all day. The table decorations that were on display complimented the reception perfectly with oranges and browns. On the day of the wedding, we had rain. I’m always learning as a photographer to deal with this and we didn’t let it beat us. I used to be terrified of rain but it teaches us to look for the beauty in other places.
Emily & Drew held their wedding ceremony at a local Church. One of the day’s highlights was being able to travel with them to the venue in the camper van. This got us some extra photos for the album not often captured. Once we arrived at Dillington house we worked our way around the weather. All in all, I was so happy with the full album delivered. Big congrats to this awesome couple! What a journey it has been.
