Hannah & Calvin are a fantastic couple, and also my neighbours. To be had been able to have photographed their wedding at Deer Park In Devon was simply brilliant. I stayed in touch with Hannah via Instagram in the lead-up to the wedding, and I knew she was putting a lot of effort into the planning. She is the lady who made the wedding cake. This is a side hustle she has alongside working full-time. How cool is that!

The day had arrived and unfortunately so had the typical British weather, rain. We didn’t let this stop us, after all, we were in the Devonshire countryside. Deer Park luckily has an orangery and that’s where the wedding ceremony took place. Originally it was supposed to be outside but this was changed fifteen minutes before with the help of the amazing staff at the venue. An orangery is always great as they let in plenty of light for us photographers, remember this for booking a wedding venue, wink wink!

The rain didn’t beat us. Luckily the venue is surrounded by some really nice gardens, great for exploring those extra photos. The walled garden here is where we headed and we asked the groomsmen and bridesmaids to be in the backdrop for the champagne pop. These are great fun and can be a great addition to a wedding album and only take a few minutes to achieve.
