Beach Maternity Photoshoot
Along the coast of Somerset, there are many beaches, and the great thing about them is they face mostly west. These beaches are great for low-light photography. Jade wanted a beach maternity photoshoot, so for me, Kilve Beach was my first thought for this. Jade & Rhys, alongside expecting a baby have also got a puppy chihuahua who they wanted to bring along. Of course, I was to say yes!
The winter is slowly coming to an end, and the sun is starting to sit nice and low in the evenings. I asked if we could shoot during the last hour of light for this. The sunset was perfect. The light reminded me of LYNSEY & MARTINS BREAN SHOOT. When I meet with a couple I like to spend five minutes just talking through how I roughly operate on a shoot. Telling them it is all relaxed and to just be yourselves. The directions I give are always nice and easy. I will take so many photos so fast they won’t realize it evening happening. Something I’m learning is it’s a game of luck and skill. One other thing that really makes a set of photos pop is planning. I always like to plan the outfits to suit also.
One thing I also learned on this photo shoot was to take photos of a tiny Chihuahua while it’s running around on the ground. This was fun and testing! I think he really made the set of images pop. If you wanting a photo shoot similar to this then please done hesitate to DROP ME A MESSAGE! I would love to hear from you.
